Rapid Launch is a Product Innovation Lab dedicated to helping entrepreneurs turn their vision into profitable startups 

Role and Strategy:

I focus on optimizing product development processes, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability. I also analyze market trends, identifying growth opportunities, prioritizing product roadmaps, and ensuring that business objectives align with innovation goals. I work on setting key performance indicators (KPIs), managing resource allocation, and fostering a culture of agile experimentation to rapidly bring new products to market.

Learnings and Success:

I learned the importance of validating ideas quickly to avoid failed products. My biggest success is validating clients’ ideas in just 5 days and achieving a 15-day time-to-market. 

About:

Radisson Hotel Group is a leading hospitality brand with operations in over 95 countries and promises ‘Every Moment Matters. 

Role and Strategy:

I joined the Product Analytics team to deploy RHG’s first internal ERP System, EMMA, focusing on data gathering, analysis, and UX/UI improvements.

Learnings and Success:

The RHG “Yes I Can” ethos became engraved in my product DNA. My biggest success was identifying and maximizing business growth opportunities, leading to a record year in client satisfaction and profitability.

Wayapoint is a leading agency banking platform that provides technology infrastructure for financial service providers. 

Role and Strategy:

My goal was to leverage technology to improve user experience and business profitability across all platforms. I developed features that optimized business operations for service providers by 40% and increased company profit by 60%. 

Learnings and Success:

I discovered the importance of data-driven decision-making and active listening to client needs. My biggest success was empowering Wayapoint’s clients to deliver a more confident and glitch-free banking experience.

PayPorte is a leading African omni-channel retail company offering high-quality fashion. 

Role and Strategy:

As a founding staff, I aimed to build a successful company that empowered self-expression through fashion. I employed an omnichannel presence, diverse product range, and a customer-centric approach, which played a key role in establishing the company’s brand identity and product direction. 

Learnings and Success:

I learned the importance of fostering a collaborative team environment and the necessity of effective communication. My biggest success was contributing to the company’s growth from a 5-person startup to a multinational force with hundreds of employees and operations across various continents.
